You can use Notepad or any plain text editor to create the file but make sure it is plain text and make sure that the. This is done by creating a plain text file in your HOME directory called. I generally get rid of some defaults (such as the Bell) and make the fonts bigger so I can see them. You may want to customize your defaults so that XPP looks the way you want it to when you run it.
